Spare Battery for the Fluke ScopeMeter 190 and 190C Series, as well as in the Fluke 430 Series.
Fluke BP190 battery pack is a rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery pack.
The Fluke BP190 Ni-MH battery pack is rated at 3,500mA with a nominal voltage of 7.2V. Typically, NiMH batteries always meet the specified operating time. However, if the BP190 battery pack has been extremely discharged (for example, when an empty battery pack has been stored for a long period) it is possible that the battery condition may deteriorate. The battery pack has to be charged in the instrument.
To obtain optimal battery condition again, you can refresh the batteries. During a battery refresh, the BP190 battery pack will be fully discharged and charged again. A complete refresh cycle takes about 12 hours and should be done about four times a year.
The correct battery charger for the BP190 is the Fluke BC190 battery charger and power adapter. It is available in both North American and universal versions (see related items below).
