Electrical safety
All inputs are protected to measurement CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600V. This meter can withstand transient impulses in excess of 8000 V to help protect you from arc blasts resulting from surges and spikes.Why you need a True-RMS Multimeter

Great Design High Quality Build Very Functional
The Bad:
Diode function can't measure voltages above approx. 2 volts
The Bottom Line:
This multimeter is awesome. The autorange feature makes the dial much less cluttered then some other multimeters. The back light and thermometer are really handy features. This multimeter does exactly what you would expect, provide you with accurate readings for all the listed measurement.
